The 17th batch of the MBA began its academic journey with a grand welcome function held at the Amrita Hospital Auditorium in Kochi. A total of 123 newcomers were greeted and introduced to the college’s vibrant learning environment.
The event was graced by Mata Amritanandamayi Math General Secretary Swami Poornamritanandapuri, who addressed the incoming students with inspiring words of wisdom. Campus Director Br. Samsiddhamrutha Chaitanya delivered a heartfelt blessing speech, encouraging students to make the most of their time at Amrita.
The function also featured MBA Principal Dr. Rajeev Prasad, who officially welcomed the students, and Amrita School of Business Dean Dr. Raghu Raman, who presided over the event. The esteemed Dr. R. V. Balasubramanian Iyer, Vice President of Jio Platforms, was the chief guest at the function, offering valuable insights into the corporate world and the importance of innovation and leadership in the business sector.
Amrita Corporate Relations & Placements General Manager Jitesh M. addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of practical experience, industry connections, and career growth during their MBA journey. The event was further enriched by the presence of alumni guests Gopika Menon and Loveraju Balam, who shared their career experiences offering the newcomers inspiration and valuable advice.
