The convocation ceremony for School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, was held on August 30, 2019.

“Education is a never-ending journey. But, foundation is very important. From Amrita, you get enough value based education. That is the strength,” said Dr. K. N. Madhusoodanan, Vice Chancellor, Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT). He delivered the keynote address at the graduation day ceremony at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi.

Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, blessed the function. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Dean (Research) Dr. Shantikumar Nair presided over the function.

Dr. N. Unnikrishnan Nair (Former Vice Chancellor, CUSAT), Dr. K. P. S. Nair (Director, FACT Ltd.), Dr. K. N. Unni (Chairman, Amrita School of Dentistry) and Prof. Sunanda Muraleedharan (Chairperson, Amrita School of Business, Kochi) were felicitated.

Dr. U. Krishnakumar, Director, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi, welcomed the gathering. Dr. K. Sreenath (HOD, English and Languages, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi) delivered the vote of thanks. The grand ceremony started with the procession from the college grounds. More than four hundred graduands, including M. Phil. research scholars, postgraduates and undergraduates received their degree certificates.
