As part of the DST-funded STI Hub: Improving Tribal Livelihoods, Education, and Sustainability (STI-ITLIVES) project, the team continues to work closely with schools in Aizawl and Mizoram. The principals and teachers of Mizoram’s schools have appreciated the impact that the Digital Literacy (DL) and Adolescent Awareness Ambassador (AAA) training programs tailored to meet the needs of students have had.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), by ensuring inclusive and equitable access to digital literacy and essential life skills training for students. By empowering young learners with critical knowledge and technology-driven education, the program fosters long-term social and economic development, bridging educational gaps and creating a more informed and capable future generation.
