Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore had the privilege of hosting sustainability experts from Arizona State University — Dr. Rajesh Buch, PhD, MBA – Business Development Director, Rob & Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Service and Dr. Rimjhim Aggarwal – Professor, School of Sustainability from Arizona State University for an insightful session on “Understanding Circular Economy and research Opportunities“.

The discussion shed light on global and local sustainability challenges and highlighted the critical role of research, innovation, and collaboration.

The session explored key topics including:

• Urbanization, income inequality, and labor challenges
• Systems thinking, value mapping, and material flow modeling

• The SPARC project and innovations in waste tracking and dashboards
