In a remarkable achievement, two students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus have clinched medals at the prestigious Kerala State Powerlifting Benchpress Championship 2023-2024. Their outstanding performances have earned them a spot on the Kerala state team, and they will proudly represent the state in the upcoming National Powerlifting Benchpress Championship, scheduled to take place in Karnataka.
The medal winners are:
- Darshan Murlidharan : A student pursuing his MBA, has claimed the gold medal in the Senior category. What makes his victory even more remarkable is that he set a new State record in the process.
- Rajaguru B N M (BCA): A student in the BCA program, secured the Silver Medal in the Junior category.
