Neural and Circuit Biophysics: Computational Neuroscience of Cerebellum and Inter-connected Circuits

The computational neuroscience research at the center is mainly focusing on the neuronal dynamics and behaviors of cerebellum and associated circuits. Using simple and detailed biophysical models of neurons, synapses and extracellular space in neural circuits, our ongoing workinvestigates the function of neuronal circuits in terms of information flow and spatial excitation-inhibition with biologically realistic mathematical models and computer simulations.
