Amrita Darshanam, International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, organized a lecture by the renowned Vastu expert Brahmasri Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboodiripad on the topic “Vastu Vidya” on 12th October, 2017.
AmritaCREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs, a virtual laboratory developed by AmritaCREATE in partnership with C-DAC Mumbai for the students from class 9 to 12, at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Tamil Nadu, on August 30, 2017. Forty-five science teachers from twenty-two schools participated in the workshop.
AmritaCREATE, one of the research initiatives of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs for School Lab Experiments at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, on September 9, 2017. The workshop was attended by seventy science teachers from seventeen schools.
The IEEE Student Branch Chapter, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, won the “The Darrel Chong Student Activity Award” for the year 2017 under gold category, for the International Symposium on Education, Technology and Entrepreneurship (ISEE) 2016.
The 12th issue of SAMVIT, the Bi-Annual Cultural Magazine, was released by Prof. R. Vaidyanathan, former Professor of Finance, IIM Bangalore, who has been featured in Thinkers50 India list, on 3rd October, 2017, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus.
A training program on Online Labs for School Lab Experiments, one of the educational research project of AmritaCREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was held at the Ashram Public School, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, on September 22, 2017. Fifty-two science teachers from ten schools participated in the training programme.
Amrita School of Business (ASB), Amritapuri, inaugurated its Sustainability Club, “Vasudha”, on September 9, 2017, in the presence of the Chief Guest Br. Shubhamrita Chaitanya, one of the senior disciples of The Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetha, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma).
