Dr. P. Chitra, Professor, Department of Child Health Nursing, Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, was awarded ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ at a Seminar on Economic Growth and National Integration organized by India International Friendship Society (IIFS) at New Delhi on June 9, 2016. She received the certificate of excellence for her meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role.

Amrita College of Nursing celebrated its 13th anniversary at the Health Sciences campus on November 2, 2015. The program started with prayer and lamp lighting of the lamp by Bri. Sai Bala, Nursing Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. Ms. Shiney Williams, Final-year B.Sc. Nursing student welcomed the gathering.

The farewell of the outgoing students of MSc Nursing 2013 batch, Post Basic BSc Nursing 2013 batch & BSc Nursing 2011 batch and inauguration of 2015 UG and PG programs of Amrita College of Nursing were held at the Health Sciences campus on August 12, 2015.
