Bio

Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh is an accomplished Paediatric Intensivist with vast experience in this field. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College and MD Paediatrics from Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College. After completing his post-graduation, Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh further enriched his expertise by undertaking senior residency at NOIDA Super specialty hospital and at the Paediatric Critical Care and Pulmonology department, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital, which provided him with a deep understanding of Paediatric Critical Care and pulmonology and flared his passion for treating the critically sick children. Dr. Singh has further completed a fellowship in Paediatric Critical Care at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. He has also worked as a Consultant at Yatharth Hospital, Noida Extension, where he was instrumental in establishing its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. In terms of expertise, Dr. Singh specializes in the care of children who are critically ill or who have severe acute or chronic illnesses. He has been working in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, since 2022, which provides comprehensive and dedicated services to critically sick children and children with respiratory issues.

His expertise includes use of advanced treatments and technologies, including dialysis (CRRT), high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), iNO administration, Pediatric critical care transport (including air transport) and post-liver transplant PICU care. Dr. Singh’s experience is well-documented in his research publications, where he has contributed to the understanding of paediatric intensive care practices.
