Bio

Dr. Gayathri M currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering with First Class with Distinction, followed by a Master’s degree in Applied Electronics with First Class. She earned her Doctoral degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology in 2023, where she pursued full-time research.

Dr. Gayathri M has more than five years of teaching experience and three years of full-time research experience. Her doctoral research focused on secure routing protocols and trust-based authentication schemes for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs). She has published research articles in SCI and Scopus indexed journals, contributed book chapters, and presented papers at several national and international conferences.

Her research interests include Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks, Internet of Things, Wireless Sensor Networks, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, Machine Learning, and Intelligent Transportation Systems. She is currently involved in research related to vehicle platooning, edge-based systems, and autonomous traffic solutions.
