Bio

Dr. Iswarya Kannoth Veetil is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Artificial Intelligence, Coimbatore, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India.Dr. Iswarya completed her B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and subsequent M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives from SSN College of Engineering under Anna University, Chennai. She was working as an Electrical Engineer in a core engineering company before returning to academia. She pursued a research assistantship designing special electrical machines at SSN College of Engineering before her doctoral studies. Dr. Iswarya’s doctoral research focused on the exploration of bias and the evaluation of generalizability in both MRI and voice based data driven models for the early detection of Parkinson’s Disease.

Her areas of research include nonlinear dynamics, signal processing, digital health systems, artificial intelligence, and complex networks/ network science. She is open to collaborate in other domains and is eager to explore the areas of evolutionary algorithms, spatial early warning signals, and areas of data-driven engineering including generative AI, and reinforcement learning.
