Bio

Dr. Rishi Kumar currently serves as Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

He has more than five years of Teaching and Research Experience. He has published 17 +Research Articles in Peer-reviewed International Journals (SCI, SCIE, ESCI, and Scopus indexed journal) with the highest Impact Factor of 7.20 and 1 Book Chapters. He has been a visiting researcher at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. He has travelled to the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom to participate, present research, and collaborate in the field of Industry 4.0. He specializes in Cyber-Physical Production Systems [CPPS] /Industry 4.0 technologies, where he integrates IoT, AI, data analytics, and sustainability into manufacturing, enhancing efficiency and resilience through advanced digital technologies and optimization techniques. In addition to that, he has attended various International Conferences, Faculty Development programs, Workshops, and Training Programs. Currently, he serves as an Active Reviewer for several reputable journals
