Job Description

  • The Department of Physics, Amrita School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position under the supervision of Dr. Sreekanth K M (Scopus ID: 56955074600, ORCID: 0000‑0002‑6397‑5492).

  • The successful candidate will contribute to advanced research in nanostructured materials and thin films, focusing on: Growth and synthesis of nanophase materials.

  • Optical, electrical, magnetic, and structural characterization techniques. Applications of thin films and coatings in modern materials science.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting independent and collaborative research.

  • Publishing in Scopus‑indexed journals.

  • Assisting in teaching MSc/PhD students in materials science.

  • Supporting grant proposals and collaborative projects.
Eligibility

  • Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.

  • Strong publication record in nanostructured materials or thin films.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
