Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Associate Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore spoke on the ‘Role of Faculty in Quality Assurance, Continuous Curriculum Improvement, and Accreditation Perspectives’ for a 5-day online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Synergizing Faculty Efforts to Advance OBE’ organized by the Academic Staff College (ASC) of Amity University, Haryana in association with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) on 28 November 2025. 50+ faculty members from various higher educational institutions attended the session, which was presided over by Prof. Sanjna Vij, Deputy Director, ASC of Amity. This online FDP was inaugurated by Dr. T.G. Sitharam, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India. Dr. Prashant showcased Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s best practices, such as IQAC as a nodal office for rankings & accreditation, for the benefit of the participants.
