Amrita Smriti – Pharma Alumni Meet 2026

Amrita Smriti – Pharma Alumni Meet 2026 was held on 07th March 2026 at Amrita School of Pharmacy.

The program commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony in presence of Dr. P. G. Nair, Emeritus Professor, Department of Pharmacology & Chief Coordinator for Campus Alumni Association, Amrita Health Sciences Campus, Kochi; Dr. Sabitha M., Principal, Amrita School of Pharmacy; Dr. Sai Prabha V.N., Alumni Coordinator & Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Amrita School of Pharmacy; Dr. Sreeja C. Nair, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics, Amrita School of Pharmacy and Dr. Meenu Vijayan, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Amrita School of Pharmacy along with alumni members who joined the occasion.

This was followed by welcome address delivered by Dr. Sai Prabha V.N., who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of maintaining strong alumni relations.

Presidential address was then delivered by Dr. Sabitha M., who spoke about the institution’s growth and achievements, and expressed appreciation for the continued support and involvement of the alumni.

Chief guest, Dr. P. G. Nair delivered an inspiring address, motivating both students and alumni through her insightful thoughts and experiences.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of alumni from the B.Pharm 2021 batch, many of whom are currently pursuing their M.Pharm at Amrita School of Pharmacy, along with members of Pharm.D 2018 batch, making the gathering more meaningful and nostalgic.

A reminiscence session was subsequently conducted, during which alumni came forward to share their experiences, cherished memories, and professional journeys, creating a nostalgic and engaging atmosphere.

The event also featured recreational and cultural activities, including three interactive games organized for the participants, along with a lively dance performance by the Pharm.D third year students, which added vibrancy to the program.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Chandra S (Pharm.D 2023 batch) who expressed sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, alumni, faculty members, and students for their valuable presence and contributions.
