Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducted its convocation ceremony for students from its Amritapuri, Kochi, Chennai, Ettimadai, Bengaluru and Mysuru campuses at the Kochi campus. More than 1,000 students received their degrees across disciplines, including Dental Sciences, Medicine, Ayurveda, Nursing, Architecture, Arts, Humanities and Commerce, Allied Health Sciences and Engineering.
The two-day convocation ceremony conferred degrees on undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars from various faculties. Medals were also awarded to rank holders in recognition of their academic excellence.
Swami Poornamritanandapuri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, delivered the benediction address. A message from the Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, was read out during the ceremony. In her message, Amma reminded students that there is no limit to acquiring knowledge and emphasised that the true purpose of education is to recognise and nurture one’s inner potential.
Dr. S. Anil Kumar, Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala, attended the event as the chief guest.
