Sreekumar Vishnu Nampoothiri, MBA student from the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus, was recognized at the Well Cell Global Conference. The conference, focused on advancing global health through interdisciplinary leadership, gathered innovators, academic leaders, and emerging changemakers from around the world to explore the future of metabolic health.
Sreekumar Vishnu Nampoothiri was part of the Global Leadership Program, an initiative by the University at Buffalo’s School of Management. He was part of Team India, which was recognized for their outstanding work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, medicine, and business. The program provided students the opportunity to collaborate on proposals aimed at introducing a pharmaceutical product into local markets, in partnership with Well Cell Global, a Houston-based healthcare company.
The Well Cell Global Project program, led by Dorothy Siaw-Asamoah, clinical professor at UB School of Management, equipped students with leadership and entrepreneurial skills. As part of the program, participants worked on real-time collaborative projects, held virtual workshops, and received personalized coaching to improve their decision-making, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving abilities.
Sreekumar’s achievement is part of a broader movement led by Well Cell Global to foster innovation. The program’s success exemplifies the transformative power of cross-border collaboration and the creation of meaningful change, as participants are encouraged to take an entrepreneurial approach to solving global health challenges.
