Amrita Centre for Entrepreneurship (ACE), Corporate and Industry Relations (CIR), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, successfully concluded its first month-long Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on 27th June, 2016. The programme, organized by ACE, CIR, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, was sponsored by National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, and routed via Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Ahmedabad.

The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham MBA Programme and the Center for Economic Fragility & Governance (CEFg), Amritapuri campus, jointly organized a Seminar on Diet Quality, Child Health, and Food Policies in Developing Countries on 18th June, 2016, in Amritapuri. The invited speaker for the event was Dr. Alok Bhargava, Professor, School of Public Policy, University of Maryland, USA.
Having achieved resounding success in its nine years of operations, the Department of Management (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus) added another feather in its cap as it inaugurated the MBA-MS Class of 2016-18 on June 20th, 2016 at its Bengaluru Campus.
The tenth Gold Medal Examination on Indian Culture and Values, with special focus on Chancellor Amma’s life and her teachings was conducted on April 4, 2016 at Amrita Health Sciences Campus.
