Swagatham 2025: Amrita School of Pharmacy Welcomes New Batch of Students

Amrita School of Pharmacy welcomed the 21st batch of B.Pharm, 18th batch of M.Pharm, and 16th batch of Pharm.D students as part of the Swagatham 2025 induction ceremony. With 150 new students beginning their academic journey, the event marked an inspiring start to a life of learning and discovery.

Chief Guest Dr. Sajeev Chandran, Vice President, Pharmaceutical R&D, Lupin Ltd., Pune, delivered an inspiring address encouraging students to embrace research, innovation, and integrity in their pharmaceutical journey.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Sabitha M, Principal, Amrita School of Pharmacy; Dr. Shanti Nair, Associate Provost, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham; Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math; Mr. N. R. Mohanan, Centre Head and Advisor – Corporate & Industrial Relations, Kochi; Dr. Sreeja C. Nair, Associate Professor, and Dr. Saiprabha V. N, Assistant Professor, Amrita School of Pharmacy.

Moment of pride as our alumna Dr. Vrinda Nampoothiri (Pharm D 2010 batch), currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, reflected on her transformative years at Amrita and inspired students to make the most of every opportunity.
