Dr. Swathy S. and Dr. Jwala Jayaram, second year PG scholars from the Department of Shalya Tantra, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, have won first and second prize respectively for presenting scientific papers at the SAMMOHAN 2019 National Seminar and Hands-on Training of Regional and General Anaesthesia held at the Parul University, Vadodara, from February 7-8, 2019.

PhD scholars at Amrita Center for Wireless Networks and Applications (AmritaWNA) Mr. Ram Kumar and Ms. Uma Gopalakrishnan published a research work titled “Multiparty Gaze Preservation through Perspective Switching for Interactive eLearning Environments” in the Springer Journal ”Multimedia Tools and Applications” with an Impact factor of 1.5.
On 19th December 2018, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Navy for collaboration in aerospace, anti-submarine warfare, cybersecurity, management, and medical research.
