Amrita Medical Students Win Quiz Competition in EM Kerala 2018

Students from the Department of Emergency Medicine at Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, secured first prize in the quiz competition at the Kerala State Chapter Level Emergency Medicine Conference, ‘EM Kerala 2018’, an academic fest organized by the Emergency Medicine Association.

Amrita School of Dentistry PG Trainee Wins Best Paper Award at 26th National Conference of IAOMP

Dr. Mridula Mohan, final year PG trainee in the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi, won the Best Paper Award in the Scientific Presentations category at the 26^th National Conference of the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists (IAOMP) held at Bhubaneswar (Odisha), from November 17-19, 2017.

Amrita Student Co-authors Paper in Nature Astronomy Journal

Sudarsan S, a final year student of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, co-authored a paper titled, “Detection of a Westward Hotspot Offset in the Atmosphere of Hot Gas Giant CoRoT-2b”, which was published in the Nature Astronomy journal, on January 22, 2018.

Amrita Student Wins Medals at National Roller Skating Championship 2017

Ajmal Nazar, second-year B.Tech. student in Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amritapuri, won two gold medals and a bronze medal in the National Roller Skating Championship 2017 held at Central Stadium, Trivandrum, from January 19-21, 2018.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham secured top honours in Computer Society of India (CSI) Annual Convention 2017, for the second consecutive year, held at Science City, Kolkata from 19 to 21 January, 2018. Amrita received 10 national awards from CSI, more than any other university or institution in India.
