Amrita School of Dentistry PG Trainee Wins Best Paper Award at 26th National Conference of IAOMP

Dr. Mridula Mohan, final year PG trainee in the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Amrita School of Dentistry, Kochi, won the Best Paper Award in the Scientific Presentations (Original Research) category at the 26th National Conference of the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists (IAOMP) held at Bhubaneswar (Odisha), from November 17-19, 2017.  More than 500 PG students in the specialty from different parts of India presented papers at the conference. 

Dr. Mridula Mohan won the award for the presentation titled, “Immunohistochemical Evaluation of Cathepsin D as a Prognostic Indicator for Salivary Gland Neoplasms“. The study was conducted in the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Amrita School of Dentistry.
