On the auspicious days of Navaratri, the students and faculty members of the School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, came together to seek the blessings of the goddess of knowledge, music, art, and culture.
As part of creating awareness among students about ragging and its consequences, a talk on “Legal Aspects of Ragging” by Dr. Jacob P. Alex, Advocate, High Court of Kerala, was organized by the Anti-ragging Committee of Amrita School of Pharmacy on July 27, 2019.

The documentary “Prathichaya” of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, was screened on the competition section of IDFFT 2019, an International Documentary film competition, conducted by the Media Studies Department of Thunchaththu Ezhuthachan Malayalam University, Tirur, Kerala, on September 18, 2019.
The Forum of Aspiring Computer Engineers (FACE), from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus, organized a 24-hour Hackathon event, SLAC, sponsored by Honeywell Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd., on August 1, 2019.
To bring in the festive flavor into the campus during the season of Onam, Ganesh Chaturti, Deepavali and Dasara, a Cultural Synergy Day with an amalgamation of several folk art forms of different regions was celebrated at School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, on September 18, 2019.
