Bio

Dr. Sabari Ramesh currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Center for Wireless Networks and Applications, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, Kerala. He completed his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India and pursued an M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. His research in Amrita mainly focuses on real-time monitoring and early warning of landslides via physical and numerical modeling studies. Other key areas of his research include -Swell and hydraulic conductivity studies on compacted soils, Quantification of desiccation cracks in expansive clays and clay-sand mixtures, Image analysis and X-ray computed tomography studies on geomaterials, Unsaturated soil mechanics, Slope stability analysis, and Landslide runout modeling.
