Bio

Dr. Meenakshi Dhar Yadav is Head and Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology at the School of Medicine, Faridabad. She is a senior ophthalmic surgeon with over three decades of clinical experience. She is a Panophthalmologist with expertise in Cataract, Glaucoma, Strabismus & Neuroophthalmology in both adults and children. She had spent over 2 decades at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, where she was the founder Head of Ophthalmology – a department she had set up in 1999. As Professor she had established herself as an astute clinician and a keen academician who has been teaching postgraduates for over 25 years. In 2020, she moved back to North India and continued to be a Professor Emeritus at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. Dr. Meenakshi was a Senior Consultant at Centre For Sight [ Dwarka & Safdurjung Enclave] in 2020-21 at their Dwarka Institute.
