Job Description

  • Direct and coordinate intervention and enrichment activities for improving secondary school student STEM outcomes especially among the underprivileged and marginalized sections.

  • Direct and coordinate Summer Training Programming for school students.

  • Researching, developing and prototyping innovative curriculum for school students and school teachers including robotics, IoT and AI

  • Be responsible for STEM intervention logistics - engaging schools, student mobilization, hardware purchases tracking for STEM workshops, setup class room with school IT team’s support, and engaging teachers in STEM workshops

  • Undertake detailed planning, monitoring and follow-up of all STEM interventions including report preparation for posting in social media

  • Track student attendance during STEM interventions Physical demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be physically fit with the ability to conduct classes and do after hour consolidation work for a period of 8 hours without any strain. The employee must be willing to frequently lift and/or move up to 5 Kgs and occasionally lift and/or move more than 10 Kgs of hardware.
Additionally

  • Prior knowledge of curriculum development is required.

  • Be passionate about working on hands-on projects with electronics hardware like Arduino, ESP32 and seen as a versatile and knowledgeable STEM expert.

  • Be an agile, enthusiastic self starter who takes pride in being on top of the technology.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with school principals, community stakeholders and external partners as appropriate.

  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.

  • Be proficient with creating and posting in social media, writing blogs. Knowledge of website maintenance is desired.

  • Be enthusiastic and professional with a team player attitude.

  • Enjoy working independently as well as in a team.
