Abstract : In this paper, a rectangular microstrip spiral patch antenna is designed, simulated and evaluated in a 2.45 GHz ISM band. Polydimethylsiloxane with a thickness of Imm is used as substrate. The suggested antenna is intended to test in both on-body and free space scenarios, with the goal of achieving a lower SAR than current antennas; it is also intended to track changes in neck position. Therefore, the reflection characteristics are analyzed. The SAR reached a peak SAR value of 0.133 when it was computed for open space and on-body conditions at 2.45 GHz frequency. Computer simulation technology (CST) has been used in the design and simulation of antenna. With this, our designed approach is useful for detecting ailments and provides information to the user for good posture.
