Achievements

• Mr. Aravind C B, Faculty Associate, delivered two research papers at the 51st All India Oriental Conference, which took place in Udupi. This conference was organized in partnership with Bharatiya Vidvat Parishat, Paryaya Sri Puthige Matha, Udupi, and Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, from October 24th to 26th, 2024. The first paper examined the theme “Bridging Tradition and Sustainability: Indian Knowledge Systems and Classical Literature,” and was presented in the IKS section of the conference. The second paper explored the subject of Vedanta within the Vedic Studies section of the event. 
• Mr. Saji Krishna Pillai, Faculty Associate, acted as a resource person during the Faculty Development Training Programme (FDP) sponsored by the Tamil Nadu State, which took place on December 10th and 11th, 2024, at the Faculty Development Training Centre in Coimbatore. He presented on the subject of “Recent Developments in Teaching English as a Second Language at Technical Institutions.” 

The first-year B. Tech. students took part in the “Internal Hackathon” for the Smart India Hackathon 2024, held at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, on September 18th, 2024. A total of 16 teams (96 Students) from diverse disciplines participated, showcasing their innovative solutions for various problem statements and categories of SIH 2024. 

A student from the I Year B. Tech., P Periyanan, has secured an internship in Neuromarketing as a Website Developer. This internship offers a stipend of Rs.5000 per month and has duration of 60 days. 

The students from the first year of the B. Tech. program took part in the Inter-College Chess Tournament held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus, December 1st, 2024.

The first year B. Tech. student Mr. Arjunesh participated in the event “MSME Idea Hackathon 4.0 (Youth)” at Amrita Vishwa VidyaPeetham, Coimbatore campus on November 4th and 5th, 2024.

The first-year B. Tech. student Ms.Sree Varshnee S participated (On spot panting) in the “Sargamritam-24” Inter-Campus Youth Festival held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus, on November 30, 2024.

Fifteen teams of first-year B. Tech. Students from our institution participated in the “2024 ICPC International Collegiate Programming Contest” on November 23rd, 2024.
