Bio

P. Sujatha is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus, India. She has over 15 years of teaching and academic experience. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, with research interests in artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and their applications in healthcare. Her work focuses on developing practical, data-driven solutions for real-world problems, including medical image analysis . Ms. Sujatha serves as the Coordinator of Student Affairs at the Amaravati campus.

    The program was organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore. It was conducted from 20th March 2024 to 26th March 2024.
  3. Completed a two-week Faculty Development Program on AI & Machine Learning with Python.
    The program was held from 25th December 2023 to 19th January 2024, organized by EduxLabs in association with Mechanica, IIT Madras.
    The certificate was issued on 20th January 2024.
  4. Attended a Live Training Webinar on Research Methods and Research Methodology.
    The session was organized by Research Graduate and conducted on 30th June 2024.
    It was led by Dr. Renu and Thejaswini B, CEO of Research Graduate.
  5. Attended an Online Short-Term Course on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
    The program was conducted from 27th to 31st January 2023, by the Department of CSE, NIT Warangal, in collaboration with KITS, Guntur.
    The course was organized under the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), NIT Warangal.
  6. Participated in a Six-Day Online FDP on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
    The program was held from 11th July 2022 to 16th July 2022, organized by the Department of CSE, Aditya College of Engineering, Madanapalle.
    It was approved by AICTE and affiliated with JNTUA, Anantapuramu.
  7. A five-day Virtual FDP on Network Simulation Tools – NS2 & NS3.
    The program was organized by the School of Computing and Information Technology, REVA University.
    It was held from 10th to 14th August 2020.

  • Acted as a speaker in the NEP-India Webinar Series – Day 13, presenting on the topic “NEP – Digital Education”.
    The session was organized by the International Internship University.
  • invited as a guest speaker for an online community group session on “Introduction of Artificial Intelligence”.
    The session was hosted by Sridevi S Bhoopalam on 14th April 2023 at 4:00 PM. It aimed to introduce key AI concepts and engage community members in technical discussions.
Awards
  • Sujatha Polisetty received the Best Presentation Award at the CJST-IJ Research Awards 2024, held on 22nd–23rd December 2024. The event was organized by Sri Padmavathi School of Pharmacy, Tiruchanoor, Tirupati, in association with CJST and Inside Journal.
  • Received the “Distinguished Academician of the Year” award from the Women’s Icon Awards for outstanding contributions to teaching across multiple disciplines.
