Abstract : In recent years, the financial scams have increased rapidly. A track of the expenses of a person on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis can make a pattern for an attacker to analyze and get trapped in a scam. This paper focuses on building a secure model to enhance the security of the tracking of these expenses of an individual with an Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption algorithm using biometric fingerprinting. The model is designed for securing the details of expenses of an individual based on his transaction details from the bank on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, which is tracked regularly and secured using 3 AES encryption algorithms running in parallel for each of the details. The AES algorithm is implemented using Verilog HDL and verified exhaustively using the waveforms generated for the design. The input is the binary data of the expenses, and the key generated is based on the fingerprints of an individual, which is converted to its binary form. The model is synthesized using the Xilinx Vivado tool, targeted for the Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoCs FPGA family boards.
