Abstract : In recent times, many people are becoming more and more familiar with Kautilya’s Arthashasthra and making use of the various principles and strategies mentioned in it. It provides the best insight and strategies for good governance, better taxation laws, infrastructure and much more. It contains principles and techniques which used in present times can result in great improvement in overall governance of the country. The purpose of this paper is to know in detail about the various aspects covered in Kautilya’s Arthashastra and its relevance in this modern Indian Economic System.
