Abstract : Plastic pollution is one of the most critical environmental challenges of the 21st century, affecting terrestrial and marine ecosystems, public health, and economic development. Traditional methods of plastic waste collection are often inadequate due to limitations in scale, efficiency, and adaptability to complex environments. Hence, this paper presents a comprehensive model for utilizing innovative robotics solutions to support environmental conservation through the targeted collection and management of plastic waste. This work uses an ESP32 Camera, NodeMCU, servo motor, BO motor relay and IoT device. The ESP32 Camera is a microcontroller board that has an ESP32 chip, a very strong and adaptable microcontroller that incorporates Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and supports external devices like cameras. This robot's capabilities ensure that it operates in hazardous or hard-to-reach areas without human assistance, improving safety and operational efficiency. Overall, this work for using robotics in plastic waste collection, focusing on smart sensor integration, decision-making, and real-time environmental data analysis. The proposed model aims to improve waste recovery rates, support sustainable practices, and contribute significantly to global environmental conservation efforts.
