Abstract :
The development of smartphones has exalted in sucha way that its demand for resources for every single application has also increased. But to process this, mobile devices are incompatible because of its limitations in performance like battery life and poor computation. The solution to overcome this issue is Resource as a service where individual resources are deployed. Merger of mobile computing and cloud computing will eventually lead to computational offloading. To perform context based offloading depends upon the need of mobile situation whether to offload data or not. Considering an image processing application that should be processed in a mobile phone. To do this, a mobile phone should utilize maximum computational resource. Hence we enable temporary cloud to access local server to do this process. We implement Hadoop image processing interface library to perform higher throughput image processing along with Map Reduce programs. We further focus on user mobility and low energy consumption of device where the user can process at any public place in a smart city with minimum requirement of WIFI.
