Qualification Postgraduate (PG) degree in Sanskrit with a specialization in Grammar (minimum 55% score) along with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
Job Description

  • The basic requirement of this post is to assist in the project titled- ‘The Critical Edition of the Ashtadhyayi’ under Amrita Darshanam International Centre for Spiritual Studies, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

  • Academic contributions, in any form, to the project, are expected from the employee assiduously.

  • The position which has been assigned to you requires the execution of the following things diligently- Assisting in the aforesaid project (under Amrita Darshanam ICSS) in form of:

    1. Collecting the manuscripts

    2. Reading and copying the manuscripts manually as well as digitally

    3. Collating the manuscript contents

    4. Any other relevant academic work related to the project

    5. Research part of the critical edition of the Ashtadhyayi with respect to examining the manuscripts and working in accordance with the traditional as well modern commentaries
