Qualification

  • Postgraduate degree in Media & Communication, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.

  • Proficiency in Photography, Videography, and Video Editing. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects) or equivalent software.

  • Basic knowledge of camera systems, lighting, audio recording, and studio management.

  • Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexibly during departmental events and academic activities.
Job Description

  • Support the Department in campus and departmental visual documentation, including photography and videography of academic, cultural, and institutional events.

  • Perform photo and video editing for departmental publications, social media, websites, and archival purposes.

  • Assist in the production of multimedia content for teaching, research, and outreach activities.

  • Maintain and manage the Media Lab and Studio Floor, ensuring equipment is organized, functional, and ready for use.

  • Monitor and maintain cameras, lighting systems, audio equipment, computers, and other studio resources.

  • Provide technical assistance to faculty and students during practical sessions, workshops, and media productions.

  • Organize and archive digital media files following departmental standards.

  • Coordinate equipment check-in/check-out and maintain inventory records.

  • Assist in setting up studios, classrooms, and venues for photography, videography, and live productions. S

  • upport departmental events and other university activities requiring media and technical assistance.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of the Department or designated faculty members.
