18th batch of the MBA was inaugurated at Amritapuri Campus
“Amma teaches us that true progress serves both people and planet. As India builds its clean energy future, I see in these young minds the same spirit — ambition guided by compassion, growth guided by responsibility. That is the India we are building toward 2047,” said Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik. He was speaking after inaugurating the 18th batch of the MBA programme at the Amrita School of Business, Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, on Thursday.
Swami Purnamritananda Puri, general secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, delivered the benediction at the ceremony. Vasanth Kumar, business advisor, Wooqer, and former MD of Lifestyle International, was the chief guest. Dr. Raghu Raman, Dean, Amrita School of Business, presided over the function.
The minister later visited research laboratories and centres on campus, where officials briefed him on ongoing projects. He also called on Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) at the ashram and toured its premises before concluding his visit.
