Bio

Anchal Jaiswal is an Assistant Professor at Amrita International School of Law, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. She graduated as the Gold Medalist in LL.M. (Intellectual Property Law) from School of Law, UPES, Dehradun. She was awarded the Gold Medal by the Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal. She also holds a B.Com LL.B. (Hons.) from the same institution and is UGC-NET qualified (Law).

Her teaching and research focus on Intellectual Property Law, Constitutional Law, Law and Emerging Technologies, Data Protection, and Innovation Governance. She has published research articles and book chapters in reputed peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals and edited volumes and has presented her work at national and international conferences.

Prior to joining academia, Ms. Jaiswal gained professional experience through engagements with the Chambers of Hon’ble Justice Vivek Chaudhary (Allahabad High Court), Hon’ble Justice S.P. Deshmukh, and Hon’ble Justice K.R. Shriram (Bombay High Court), as well as top-tier law firms, enriching her teaching and scholarship with practical insights into judicial decision-making, corporate advisory, and regulatory practice.

At Amrita, she serves as the Joint Coordinator of the Amrita Global Corporate Law Centre (AGCLC), the Amrita Centre for Intellectual Property & Innovation (ACIPI), and the Amrita Centre for International Laws and Relations (ACILR). She has also mentored students in mooting and legal research and has served as a judge at national moot court competitions. Her research examines the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, with a particular focus on emerging regulatory frameworks and contemporary policy challenges.
