Job description

  • The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will contribute to cutting-edge interdisciplinary research at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Complex Systems.

  • The successful candidate will work on developing novel computational methods and intelligent algorithms for modelling, analyzing, and interpreting complex real-world systems, with a particular emphasis on data-driven discovery, predictive modelling, and decision support.

  • The research will involve designing and implementing advanced AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, probabilistic modelling, explainable AI, and multimodal data analytics, while integrating concepts from nonlinear dynamics, complex networks, statistical modelling, and computational intelligence.

  • The candidate will collaborate with faculty members, doctoral researchers, and domain experts on multidisciplinary research projects spanning healthcare and other complex application domains.

  • The position offers opportunities to contribute to high-impact research publications, develop open-source software and computational frameworks, participate in national and international collaborative projects, assist in research proposal development, and mentor postgraduate and doctoral students.

  • The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate a strong research orientation, scientific curiosity, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
Skills Required

  • Candidates must have an excellent publication record in reputed peer-reviewed journals and/or top-tier international conferences. Demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Complex Systems, Statistical Modelling, or related areas is highly desirable.

  • Strong programming skills and the ability to conduct independent, high-quality research in an interdisciplinary environment are expected.
