Registration category. The registration category of a paper is determined by the institutional affiliation of the first author, exactly as it appears on the accepted paper. It is not determined by nationality or citizenship.

First author affiliated with an institution outside India → International category.
Application of the category rule.

A foreign national whose affiliation is an Indian institution registers under the Indian category.
If the first author has no institutional affiliation (independent researcher), the category is decided by their country of residence, which must be declared at registration.
If the first author lists both an Indian and a foreign institution, the International category applies.
The Presenting Author must complete the registration within the specified deadline.
Change of presenting author. The presenting author may be changed by writing to icrm2026@am.amrita.edu. The registration category of the paper does not change, as it is fixed by the first author’s affiliation.
Attendee Registration is intended for participants without an accepted paper, and for co-authors of an accepted paper who wish to attend in addition to the registered presenting author.
Co-authors who were not included in the original submission cannot be added during the camera-ready submission. However, they may register separately as attendees.
Student category. Students must upload a valid student ID card or a bonafide certificate signed by the Head of Department. Registrations without valid proof will be reclassified to the Academic — Faculty rate, and the difference must be paid before the paper is scheduled.
IEEE Member registration benefits are applicable only upon successful verification of a valid IEEE Membership Card.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to verify all registration details and supporting documents.
After completing the registration process no refunds or cancellations are permitted.
Camera-ready manuscripts are limited to 6 pages.
Important Note: Your paper may be excluded from the conference proceedings if it contains plagiarized content or AI-generated content exceeding the permissible threshold, as per the applicable conference policy. No registration fee will be refunded in such cases.
It’s important for authors to adhere to these guidelines to ensure their papers are included in the conference proceedings and published on IEEE Xplore.
