Overview of Automotive-Specific Communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, TCP/IP, SOME/IP, DDS, Protobuff, Introduction to Vehicular Networks: Controller Area Networks (CAN) – field of application- physical layer and bit -coding-frame types and format-Bit stuffing and synchronization- error management
Unit 3
OBD Standards – Interface Controller – Applications – Overview of Automotive Ethernet protocols- Introduction to AUTOSAR – Classic and Adaptive, Automotive Ethernet, OBDII Diagnostic standards: UDP, SDV Diagnostic standards: DOIP.
