Novel Targeted Chitosan based Therapeutic Polymeric Nanomedicines for Lung Cancer Applications

This project aims to develop a synergistic collaboration between an active nanomedicine team from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto, Portugal and a strong nano medicine group at the Amrita Center for Nanosciences, AIMS, Kochi, India. The broad area of this targeted nanomedicine research is lung cancer, which is a very serious disease in both the collaborating countries. The project seeks to develop novel targeted nanosystems for delivery of anti-tumour medicines to non-small lung cancer cells.
