Oral health education through effective and innovative BCC interventions can improve oral health literacy and play a leading role in public health preventive strategies, especially when imparted at an early receptive age. This trial aims to develop and test a Prenatal and Postnatal Maternal BCC intervention to improve the oral health of their newly born infants. The trial shall incorporate time-to-time maternal oral health counselling though psychological / oral health interventions and would timely assess the caries incidence of both nulliparous pregnant women and their babies, followed up to a period of 2 years.
