About the Project
The elastic property of soft tissue changes with pathological conditions and early detection of breast cancer is possible with the determination of the elastic property of the tissue. Qualitative and quantitative analysis can be done considering this a biomechanics problem. The topic aims at developing an elastographic system that can replace the X-ray mammogram.
