About the Project

Use of IoT devices have increased in the past decade. This also increased the security risks associated with these devices. These devices are more prone to attacks and can be easily exploited. The research will majorly focus on finding solutions to IoT Security Issues. PhD under this scheme has two openings.

  1. Vulnerability analysis on MQTT, protecting information in IoT, identifying the security weakness of third-party applications installed and providing solutions for the same.
  2. Scanning the IoT devices for vulnerabilities and using penetration testing tools before setting the network. Proposing solutions to fix the detected vulnerability and alerting user on the detected vulnerability.
