Eligibility Norms (B. Tech.)

For CBSE/ ICSE /State Board Candidates
For admission to B. Tech., candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with an aggregate of minimum 75% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry (for CBSE/ICSE candidates), and minimum 80% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry (for State Board candidates). Individual minimum in the above subjects should be not less than 60%.

Applicable to those who have studied under a system other than CBSE/ ICSE/ State Board
Candidates who have studied under a system different from CBSE/ ICSE /State Boards, should obtain preferably ‘A’ grade (or equivalent) in ‘A’ level examination or its equivalent. Students who have taken Advance Placement Courses will have preference. Candidates should have studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry in Grade 11 and Grade 12.Such candidates should also obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, AIU House, 16. Candidates born on or after 1st July 2003.

Admission Procedure:
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts Entrance Examination for admission to its engineering courses every year. NRI, PIO & Foreign National candidates are exempted from appearing in the examination, if they are studying their Plus Two outside India. NRI- Sponsored candidates (those who are pursuing 10+2 education in India but whose either of the parents is an NRI) AND NRI/PIO/Foreign National candidates who are pursuing their Plus Two education in India are compulsorily required to appear in the entrance examination for becoming eligible for admission.

PG Courses Offered in the Campuses and Eligibility Norms (M. Tech.)

Admission Procedure (M. Tech.)

Admission is based on academic merit & performance in the personal interview. For M. Tech. programme candidates with good GATE score will be given preference. Notifications for admission to all the above courses will appear in the leading newspapers and our website

Applicable to those who have studied under foreign universities

Admission Procedure for NRI/OCI/PIO Category
