Action plan 2025 – 2026

Amrita School of Computing, Nagercoil Campus, Hosts Internal Smart India Hackathon 2025!  

Students spent the day immersed in Amrita Hack Fest 2025, putting their problem-solving, coding, and innovation skills to the test. The internal Smart India Hackathon provided a dynamic platform for them to brainstorm, prototype, and bring ideas to life, preparing the best solutions for the national-level competition and highlighting the creativity, and technical expertise of our students. 

Amrita HackFest 2025 – A Demo Day organized by the Amrita Institution’s Innovation Council (AIIC) and the Department of ECE, was held at Nagercoil Campus — bringing together bright minds and bold ideas to celebrate innovation and technology. With an incredible presentations by 31 enthusiastic teams — the event was filled with creativity and passion for technology.  
 
A special thanks to our Respected Principal, Dr. S. Bhagavathi Perumal, for his constant support and encouragement, and to our coordinators, Dr. Allan J. Wilson and Dr. S. Veluchamy, for their dedicated guidance throughout the event. Here’s a glimpse into a day that celebrated innovation and teamwork!

The Amrita InnoSpark 2K25 Orientation Sessions at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, concluded on an inspiring note, igniting curiosity and creativity among students across disciplines. The sessions featured insightful talks by Dr. S. Veluchamy, Ms. Rakshna, Mrs. Anchana, and Mr. Arun S., who guided students on developing innovative ideas, fostering teamwork, and transforming classroom knowledge into real-world solutions.  

For students, it was an opportunity to understand how innovation begins with simple ideas and grows through collaboration, problem-solving, and passion for change. The event helped participants gain clarity on how to take their concepts forward through upcoming platforms like Amrita Ideathon 2K25 and Amrita Solvathon 2K25. 

Amrita HackFest 2025 – TRIUMPH DAY concluded on a high note at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, celebrating student innovation, teamwork, and technological excellence.

The finale honoured outstanding teams across Software and Hardware categories, recognising creative problem-solving, technical depth, and collaborative spirit. From Champions of Innovation to Emerging Innovators, the winners reflected the diversity of ideas and the strength of student-led innovation on campus.

  • Second Prize – Innovator of Excellence Team TH16 – Hackronauts Danikssha, Sahana S, Varsha Sanmuhi G, Pydimarri Dwijendra, Mourya Krishna R, Thivyanand S T (I Year – CSE)
  • Third Prize – Emerging Innovator Team TS17 – Coders Squad Thrisha R, Sinciya J, Shiny S, Saravanan L, Sweatha M L, Tharun S J (III Year – CSE) 

HackFest 2025 Winners – Hardware Category

  • First Prize – Champion of Innovation Team TH13 – Error 404 Konne Jishnu Karthik, Nakka Guru Sekhar, Deva Harshini S, Rachepalli Laasya, Jagarlamudi Sri Vyshnavi, Thapana Boora (II Year – ECE / AID / CSE)
  • Second Prize – Innovator of Excellence Team TH22 – Nexus Joannah Santhosh, Adithyan V Pillai, Kashinath S, Pranav M Biju, V. Sanath, Abhijith P (II Year – CSE / AID)
  • Third Prize – Emerging Innovator Team TS62 – TraGen Ashik D, Dharan R M, Keerthi Amara, Aruna Sree Selvam, Dhanush Suresh, Mahatheesh P S (III Year – AIDS / ECE) 

Heartfelt congratulations to all winners, and sincere thanks to the mentors, jury members, coordinators, and organising teams for making Amrita HackFest 2025 a memorable and impactful celebration of innovation.

Amrita School of Computing, Nagercoil Campus successfully conducted InnoSpark 2K26, featuring an Ideathon for first-year students and a Solvathon for second-year students.

With 58 teams participating, the event fostered innovation, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving, as students presented creative ideas and feasible solutions evaluated by faculty and experts.

The School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Nagercoil Campus, hosted Amrita InnoSpark Pitch Day 2K26, organized by the Amrita Institution’s Innovation Council (AIIC), bringing together young innovators and future builders for a day of ideas, creativity, and problem-solving.

The event featured two exciting segments — IDEATHON for First Year B.Tech students, where participants presented innovative concepts through poster presentations under the theme “Think Big | Pitch Smart,” and SOLVATHON for Second Year B.Tech students, where teams showcased working models and prototypes aimed at solving real-world challenges under the theme “Solve Real Problems | Build Prototypes.”

Students demonstrated remarkable creativity, technical insight, and entrepreneurial thinking as they pitched ideas, built solutions, and explored possibilities for impactful innovation. InnoSpark 2K26 provided a dynamic platform for students to transform ideas into actionable solutions and take their first steps toward becoming future innovators and entrepreneurs.
