Sowmiyakrishna G.

Sowmiyakrishna G is a researcher with a strong academic background in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a keen interest in neuroscience and bioinformatics. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from PSG College of Arts and Science and completed her Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pondicherry University.

During her postgraduate studies, she worked on the research project “USP30 – A Novel Therapeutic Target for Parkinson’s Disease,” contributing to the understanding of potential therapeutic approaches for neurodegenerative disorders. Her research interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience, bioinformatics, and molecular biology, with a focus on leveraging interdisciplinary approaches to address complex biological challenges.

She has experience in biochemical and microbial techniques, bioinformatics and immunoinformatics tools, and programming languages, enabling her to integrate experimental and computational methods in biomedical research.
