The course introduces traditional Indian paintings in the light of ancient Indian wisdom in the fields of aesthetics, the Shadanga (Sixs limbs of Indian paintings) and the contextual stories from ancient texts from where the paintings originated. The course introduces the painting styles such as Madhubani, Keralam Mural, Pahari, Cheriyal, Rajput, Tanjore etc.
