Course Objectives
To introduce students to the depths and richness of the Indian heritage and knowledge traditions, and to enable them to obtain a synoptic view of the grandiose achievements of India in diverse fields. To equip students with a knowledge of their country and its eternal values.

Be able to enhance the understanding of the true essence of India’s cultural and spiritual heritage through learning analytically what it amounts to living a happy life, and about the richness of India’s education system, while pondering on the serious damage caused by colonialism in India alongside learning about the means of decolonisation and knowing about the early timeline of the Indian subcontinent. |

Learn about the sublime value of selflessness and final freedom alongside understanding the concept of the circle of life and the Indian approach toward it while delving into the means of celebrating life. |

Familiarize on the topic of what true love is, by way of understanding the immense compassion of mahtmas, and Mt Amtnandamay’s Amma’s gospel on compassion, the role of metaphors and tropes, whereafter focussing personality development through Yoga both theoretically and practically |
