Unit 3

To demonstrate the usage of while, do-while and for loops 

1. Write a program to find the sum of numbers from 1 to N.
2. Write a program to reverse a number.
3. Write a program to generate the Fibonacci series.

Unit 4

To demonstrate the concept of arrays and strings 

1. Write a program to check whether a string is a Palindrome.
2. Write a program to insert a number at a given position in an array.
3. Write a program to arrange a list of numbers in ascending order.
4. Write a program to check whether a given matrix is symmetric or not.
5. Write a program to perform matrix multiplication.

Unit 5

To demonstrate the usage of functions and recursion

2. Write a program using function to swap two numbers using pointers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

To introduce concepts of programming with a basic and widely used programming language C and introduction to scripting concepts in Linux operating system. The major objective of this course is to provide students with understanding of code organization and functional hierarchical decomposition with using complex data types.
